Recently Forbes magazine has published latest edition of The World’s 50 Greatest Leaders. The list consist of the men and women who are transforming the world and inspiring others to do the same. Two Indian-American women has featured in this list. Nikki Haley (Ranked # 17) and Reshma Saujani (Ranked # 18). It’s great honor to see Indian women getting selected in World’s Greatest Leaders.

Nikki Haley is an American Republican politician who has served as the 116th Governor of South Carolina since 2011. Haley is the first woman to serve as Governor of South Carolina; at the age of 44, she is the youngest current governor in the United States.  She is the second Indian-American governor in the United States, after Bobby Jindal of Louisiana.

Reshma Saujani is an American lawyer and politician. She is the founder of the tech organization Girls Who Code. She was previously the Deputy Public Advocate at the Office of the New York City Public Advocate. Saujani was the first Indian-American woman (and the first South Asian American woman) to run for Congress. She ran as a Democratic candidate for New York City Public Advocate in 2013, coming third in the primary
